Dear Friends,
Been a while since my last update and a lot has been happening. Just before Christmas I made my debut at both the Hammersmith Apollo and The Shepherds Bush Empire, playing a duet with non other that the great songsmith/comedian Tim Minchin. It makes a bit of a change playing to 5,500 people! Daunting yet lots of fun. See pictures on Facebook here www.facebook.com/danclewsofficial
In the mean time behind the scenes work leading up to the release of my second album is well underway and feels like this year could be my biggest yet. More news will be revealed in the coming months.
To kick the year off I'll be playing 3 fantastic support slots:
Wednesday 18th January - The Strongrooms Bar (Curtain Rd, London, EC2A 3SQ)
I'll be supporting my good friends and one of my favourite London bands 'The Brute Chorus'.A cult band with a strong underground following and for good reason!
Thursday 19th January - The Borderline, Orange Yard, Manette Street, London, W1D 4JB
Opening for the fab Juan Zelada. Those that caught him recently at The Forum (T. Wells) will agree this guy is a force live and I've been told that was a bad day!
Wednesday 25th January - The Underbelly,11 Hoxton Square, London N1 6NU
Supporting 'Loose salute', a whimsical folk unit from Devon causing stirs in the big smoke.
Well that just about wraps it up. Hope to catch you at a show soon.
Dan
